Pros
Health benefits. Good people. Valuable SCRUM and ISO environment. Strong sense of business ethics.
Cons
Non-existing career path for programmers. Noncompetitive technology. The work methods are horrible. Tickets remain unsolved and problems, such as defaultive development tools, remain the same, for decades long. Management only cares about the next sale. R&D doesn't care about producing quality work, which impacts on all the professional service offices. R&D is close to individual contributions. Management hire people for job titles you would have been interested in and pay them more then you. Fire 10+ years seniors, 5 at a time and hire new people to replace them, a month after. Did I gave a pro point on ethics?

Pros
Benefits. Pay is good but a lot of manufacturing jobs are catching up with them in terms of hourly rate
Cons
Hoo boy. Turn over rate is high, they have a whole training department that isn't allowed to train, they wanna be a 24/7 operation and go about it in the worst ways possible, mechanical failures are a common occurrence, 0 communication, management is top heavy and is more concerned about being right or avoiding confrontation than production and there are no growth opportunities as management will gatekeep you as they don't wanna lose bodies from their dept.
