    Pros

friendly coworkers, great location, laid-back managers. most coworkers are students, so i met people from all over the country. some were even international kids beginning their first year of university.

    Cons

inconsistent schedule, hours can be tough.

    Advice to Management

Feed your managers- a lot of the talented ones left because of poor benefits!

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You could fix your schedule how you wanted and could work as early as 7am if you wanted.

    Cons

They started cutting our hours. Managers sometimes looked down on us

    Advice to Management

    Make more room for workers

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Flexible schedule
    - Reasonably simple tasks
    - Pace of environment was not too fast but nor too slow
    - Very easy to find someone who will cover a shift if needed (for emergencies)

    Cons

    - Management is horrible at training new hires, they hire you and you begin working immediately with minimal training. They throw you into "the deep end" and expect you to know how to do everything.
    - Storefront may look organized, but delegating job tasks was unorganized for sure

    Advice to Management

Invest longer time and organization in training your new hires. I worked for the company for 2 years, starting in 2012 so a lot of things may have changed by now, however this was my experience and it was not the best.

    Pros

You get to work when you want. The people are friendly and willing to help.

    Cons

You may not always get as many hours as you want to work. The place smells like perfume all the time, your boss might ask you to wear a tighter shirt.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch (More than a year)

    Pros

Just a bunch of kids trying to pass the time and get paid.

    Cons

Just a bunch of kids pretending to be managers telling other kids what to do while sucking at being managers.

    Advice to Management

Be better. Actually learn and stop winging it.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers were the best part of the experience. Everyone was very easy to get along with. Discount was a benefit

    Cons

Hours were difficult to get. Upper management staff would be very disrespectful sometimes and demanding. Not very much opportunity.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible hours and scheduling. You get to work with some interesting team members, and the work lifestyle is very laid back.

    Cons

Management in each store varies, but this particular location during my employment was extremely disorganized. Many of the managers in training only lasted a few weeks before quitting midway through training, while current general managers and store managers fail to properly delegate tasks and responsibilities to their associates.

    Advice to Management

Implement a better 'manager in training' program. Improved pay and benefits for part-time store associates. Also improve the associate hiring and training process.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get 50% off of like 5 items when you start, which isn't much compared to other retail benefits that require you to wear the clothes

    Cons

    Immature, young managers
Horrible, prejudiced company, will discriminate against looks/weight/etc.
Overstaffed, you will barely get any hours

    Advice to Management

I don't know how this company hasn't crashed and burned yet. Probably all the tourists who worship these crappy clothes and aesthetic.
