I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get employee discount and that's it.

    Cons

    Managers are crazy.
They don't give you a break for every 3 hours.
If you want to work in retail, go work at Macy's. it pays you the same and its much MUCH easier than abercrombie.

    Advice to Management

    Leave.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Associate discount, room for advancement, build great relationships, learn how to manage business

    Cons

Retail hours, training and support, very political the higher you advance, conflicting focuses depending on location, wear many hats

    Advice to Management

We were expected to strive for a specific conversion goal and provide a world class experience for customers. The Home Office continues to do less and less and expect management and the associates to do more (tasks). These are conflicting. To achieve higher conversion, sales, and customer loyalty pressure from tasks must be alleviated. Management can then spend more time training and developing their staff, building product knowledge, and overall giving customers the experience they deserve.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment. You always feel welcomed by management and other peers. Easy going and relaxed shifts. Easy to catch on and learn the ropes.

    Cons

The salary isn't very good. $7.25 an hour for all the responsibilities thrown at you doesn't seem like enough in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. You work very hard to keep the company together and it is very much appreciated whether you know it or not.
