    Pros

Great benefits, you get to wear casual clothes to work, large corporation "experience"

    Cons

non-competitive salaries, high turnover rate - which set more pressure upon managers to recruit and put in an overwhelming amount hours, unrealistic business model/expectations, poor HR support to lower-ranked employees, managers are often expected to work over-night, you only get promoted if someone quits.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're struggling to find a job out of college this is not a bad option. The company has a high turnover so there's always a store that has full time openings.

    Cons

The health care plan is mediocre. The pay is not good especially with the company requiring a bachelor's degree for managers. If you have a nice store manager and district manager it makes working there ok. But if you don't it can make the job miserable. Not a flexible schedule, PTO is just... ok, the yearly raises are horrible. For yearly raises you may get 50 cents.

    Advice to Management

Would not consider this company for long term. A lot of lateral promotions, very little upward movement

    Pros

    Unfiltered glimpse into retail, coworkers

    Cons

Depressing atmosphere, hard to connect with customers and other workers

    Advice to Management

Take into consideration the needs of the lowest employees when crafting strategy shifts or memorandums. The Retail managers seemed to do whatever corporate told them regardless of how odd it seemed for our particular store.

    I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time

    Pros

You meet great people and make new friendships. The customers are very diverse so you'll meet a wide range of different ethnic and racial groups. The skills that you learn helps you in your personal life so that's a plus. If the managers notice that you are doing good at what they've assigned you you'll get more hours. There is always a way to get more hours.

    Cons

The managers do the scheduling by popularity and friendships. Sometimes the managers forget that you're a person who has a life too and life happens. Be careful now they will write you up for anything.

    Advice to Management

Take a step back and remember that most of the people working for you are one still in high school and or in the first year of college just keep that in mind.
