    Pros

There is minimal ownership of responsibility here. You can do what you want however much you want and when it's time to leave someone else picks up where you left up. No take-home stress.

    Cons

No one cares about what they're doing unless management is just truly and genuinely inspiring in their own creative and innovative ways. There is zero incentive to work hard based just on the pay alone. Makes it difficult for those who do take their work seriously.

    Advice to Management

Offer additional incentives for employees besides recognition. Something that makes them feel more valued. Perhaps stock options even for part time employees, even something small.

    Pros

Great working environment. Everyone very easy to get along with and a fantastic job right out of college to gain managerial experience.

    Cons

District managers change often (on average every year or so) so you have to learn they're new way of doing things and how they like their stores run differently from the last district manager.

    Advice to Management

Place more value on time put into the company and have more of a structured and uniform standard for stores so even if your district manager changes the expectation is the same.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're struggling to find a job out of college this is not a bad option. The company has a high turnover so there's always a store that has full time openings.

    Cons

The health care plan is mediocre. The pay is not good especially with the company requiring a bachelor's degree for managers. If you have a nice store manager and district manager it makes working there ok. But if you don't it can make the job miserable. Not a flexible schedule, PTO is just... ok, the yearly raises are horrible. For yearly raises you may get 50 cents.

    Advice to Management

Would not consider this company for long term. A lot of lateral promotions, very little upward movement

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get a discount at the store, which could be more substantial. It is very professional and runs smoothly.

    Cons

They expected you to look and dress a certain way. Coworkers could come off as superficial and could be excluding.
