    Pros

The pay is good, you get opportunities to do things that might take more seniority to do at other companies.

    Cons

The hours and expectations are horrendous with very little concern for ones well being or personal life and getting burned out is common. The environment is stress inducing from playing loud dance music on a track that repeats all day long to unrealistic expectations to finish a job after you've already completed it because they've changed their mind for the 10th time. It seems that one always falls short of their expectations regardless of how hard or long you work and in turn, confidence in yourself is slowly diminished.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to your employees well being and the product would turn out better.

    Pros

Its a fun place to work for a young adult. You see a lot of new people and get hands on experience. The managers are easy to work with and are helpful. The discount.

    Cons

The payment is horrible and you barely get enough hours a week to earn any real kind of salary. They expect you to wear their clothes (you might be sent to the back room if you fail to meet their clothes requirements), and even with their great discount, because of your salary, you can't afford their clothes. There's no room to move up, it seemed like I was working hard for nothing.

I do not have any pros associated with this position, other than employee discount.

    Cons

Very low pay and terrible work hours.

    Advice to Management

Compensation needs to be compensorate with the work that is being performed.

    Pros

-The discount is great if you shop at the store
-Some of the people who work there are nice

    Cons

-I've been hired for one month already and was JUST put on the schedule today. For one day. I worked one day last week, only because an employee allowed me too.
-They assume that every time they call you last second to work you will be ready and run to the store. Today, for example, I had my sister's graduation and dinner. A manager called asking me to work (when I clearly put on the schedule I could not work today). She seemed very annoyed when I explained why I couldn't.
-The pay is pretty bad. It's a lot of work for minimum wage... Standing on your feet for hours in the stock room and climbing all the way up to put clothing away. It's not an easy job.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to make a schedule and keep to it.

    Pros

About the only pro about this job was that I worked with other people that were my age. It was pretty easy to request time off as well since the job is only part time.

    Cons

The major downside for working for A&F was that store managers are almost completely incompetent. Also the managers are always pushing you to wear the newest style of clothing. Since the clothing is so expensive you cannot afford to buy the stuff with the minimum wage salary you are earning.

    Advice to Management

A good way to obtain and retain quality employees is by giving them raises if they perform well. In my two years with the company I was never rewarded for any of my work.
