    Advice to Management

Move the company to London or somewhere that will help them attract talent.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Abika Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Growing with Flat Structure - Great opportunities for those who bill well
Environment is team driven, sporty and has an exciting sales floor
Lots of money to be made with supportive management
Great incentives for achievement - very good commission paid for in month starters, trips to Vegas, and recognition of star performance.

    Cons

Lack of brand recognition - few inbound enquiries
Location of Sutton is restrictive (London only 20 minutes away though)

    Advice to Management

As the executives have gained managerial skills, so the company has grown with quality people who only want to work for them. Keep hiring good people to demonstrate required growth to the team.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Abika Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good office banter
Located near to lots of retail/food outlets and not far from the BR station
Have employed some experienced recruiters who have some good ideas
    Actively encourage sharing of knowledge
About 50% of the management team leads from the front and knows their stuff

    Cons

Lack of diversity within the team
Lack of defined career development / training options
About 50% of the management team is not very experienced in recruitment
Aggressive sales approach, not relationship focused
Static number of employees for a number of years despite growth plans
Convoluted commission structure - different structure for different people with no apparent logic
£10,000 monthly threshold (no commission paid out on first 10K of monthly billings) (!?)

    Advice to Management

Consider developing closer client relationships and managing employees in a more transparent way
Consider revising threshold to attract even higher quality individuals into the business
