I have been working at Abilene Independent School District full-time

    Pros

Get to work and be off around kids school schedules

    Cons

Overly micromanaged. None of the departments within AISD seem to get along with one another.

    Recommends

    Pros

    *Basic Health Insurance paid for
*Social Studies Department had highly competent teachers and people
*New leadership came in and was beginning to communicate better and bring a refreshing attitude to the district.

    Cons

*Communication was poor between leadership and teachers
*Departments seemed isolated and well as some teachers

    Advice to Management

They are already working on better communication, but they could connect to teachers better on the vision of the administration. In that regard, they needed to focus their vision and the programs they were going to use. It seemed scatter-shot.
