I have been working at Abo's Pizza full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some nice customers, good work environment, good work-life balance, days off when you need them, and free food!

    Cons

No sick days, must have shift covered. Lots of holidays, weekends, and nights. Customers often don't appreciate you. Snobby rich people in Denver.

    Advice to Management

Abo's needs to advertise more. They are way behind their competitors.

I have been working at Abo's Pizza full-time

    Pros

There are some great people working at this place. Relaxed environment for the most part. Pretty good food as well. Great place to pick up some basic skills in the kitchen.

    Cons

Not so much a job where you can expect to get raises for doing good work. But if you need a job, not a bad place to work overall.

    I worked at Abo's Pizza part-time

    Pros

Easy going atmosphere, no uniforms, friendly staff and owner

    Cons

Drivers do all the prep work and cleaning for a $5.50 hourly rate, not as busy as a big chain so less money, very large delivery area so sometimes you may only take a single delivery in an hour. With $5.50 and $1 per delivery, and a $3 tip, your hourly is about $9.50. Not bad but wear and tear on the vehicle and 1/2 tank of gas eat into the rate quickly.

    Advice to Management

Fewer drivers on shift and 1 dedicated back of the house prep and dishwasher on Friday and Saturday nights.

I worked at Abo's Pizza full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A pretty standard pizza place, a relaxed atmosphere at work, and friendly co-workers. Get's demanding during busy spells but is fine if you're used to the pace of a kitchen. They're flexible if you're going to school and can usually work around any time off.

    Cons

Have to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The pay is pretty low unless you get into upper management. There's not much room for growth professionally but if you're straight out of high school and prove your worth you could get into a lower management role.

    Advice to Management

Pay the lower management a little more and shrink the menu. The place needs streamlining a bit.
