I worked at Absolute Staffers full-time

    Pros

Great experience for someone looking to learn about government contracting from an agency perspective

    Cons

Poor management for an executive level. It provides a bad experience regarding family-owned or small business.

    Advice to Management

No advice needed to be given because they are convenience in their small circle they are doing thing right, even though they have 90% turnover.

  2. "They've been in business since 2002; yet not one person working in the office had been there longer than a year."

I worked at Absolute Staffers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are none. The only reason I gave them a star was because this app made me give at least one star or I couldn't submit this very accurate review.

    Cons

Too many to list. Everything about this company is terrible. Their turn over rate says it all. Management is a joke.

They'll be shut down sooner or later by the federal government.... They might want to figure out what the word compliance means

    Advice to Management

Retire. You're in way over your head.

I worked at Absolute Staffers as a contractor

    Pros

Not a lot here. It is a job, plain and simple. If you want to be a low paid number, this is the place for you.

    Cons

Where to start. Pay is marginal at best. Management has absolutely no idea what they are bidding on when they bid on a contract, they just bid & hope for the best. If they are awarded the contract, because they under bid every other company that knew what they were bidding on, they under pay their employees to compensate for their lack of knowledge.

    Advice to Management

Learn what you are doing before you do it. Learn more about the contracts you bid on before you bid, and pay your people better.

I worked at Absolute Staffers (Less than a year)

    Pros

Healthcare workers being placed at different government facilities will have more career longevity.

    Cons

Small Business that is still in the stone ages regarding how to treat their internal employees. They use Maryland's "at will" law like a crutch, and will fire someone without cause. They have a HIGH turnover rate of internal employees which leaves a new employee starting out with "cleaning" up messes, and never being properly trained on processes. Even if you are doing your job right, they will find fault with you. While I was employed there they fired CFO, HR Admin, and HR consultant. Not organized at ALL. Lured with promises that are never fulfilled. Do not work here if you are looking for career longevity.

I worked at Absolute Staffers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It started out positive. There was a lot of dialogue regarding the need to "fix" things and "move in a new direction". There were occasional team lunches, and nice personal gestures made to employees.

    Cons

Talk of change was not genuine. Promises to employees were not kept, and individuals were strung along as long as possible. Disputes among family members (about 40% of the corp. staff) were long, loud, and repeated. in some cases, police were called and accusatory faxes were sent to all company machines. The owner's daughter treated employees as being beneath her. Owner and her sister performed a skit mocking two team members who had quit the company. If you didn't have to experience this place, you would almost have to laugh in disbelief. Since most family members were not qualified for their position, constant "meetings" were held where nothing was accomplished. Truly a death by meeting scenario. Compensation/Hourly practices were not fair or consistent with regulation.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the pattern in these reviews. Own the reality of constant high turnover, and don't make excuses. If everyone except for family sees a problem; it's probably there.

I worked at Absolute Staffers full-time

    Pros

Honestly can say there are no pros to working here.

    Cons

There is no accountability, management is not knowledgeable about the industries in which they work, there is a lot of buck-passing and blame casting, salaries are usually low, they do not thoroughly vet employees and tend to hire unqualified individuals.

    Advice to Management

sell the company to another organization that knows what they are doing.

    Pros

There are no pros working for this company. They focus on things that just don't matter and let the important stuff, like human capital walk out the door again and again.

    Cons

Too many to list. The average tenure of any employee is less than 90 days.

    Advice to Management

Get out of the people business

    Pros

    None that can be listed

    Cons

Very poorly run company. Management has no idea what they are doing. Company constantly in crisis mode they never get ahead of the curve. Decisions are not based on any sort of reason but on feeling at the time. Personnel in senior positions they are not qualified for. Company exhibits very high turnover. They have turned over their entire staff three times in two years. No one has been at the company for longer than a year.

    Advice to Management

Go to school take classes in management and communications. Learn how to communicate withe employees and customers. When you put a person in a position make sure they can do he work and let them do the work.
