Pros
Decent Work Life balance (depending on who your manager is) Large Company with Unique Atmosphere
Cons
-Directors and Managers seem to be the only people who are able to take advantage of a flexible work schedule -Salary is not competitive

Pros
The company does work to provide a work life balance and has a laid back environment (although this depends on the division I am told)
Cons
Struggles of a growing company mixed with salaries being skewed towards the top. Bonuses are only for executives. Raises are distributed via horse trading and side table conversations, reviews mean nothing.

Cons
Some level of rigidity listening to employee views.

Pros
-Great work/life balance -Good company culture -Flexible working hours -Very egalitarian atmosphere -Culture of communication and asking for help if needed
Cons
There aren't a ton of cons here. The pay likely is not as lucrative as if you were in other sectors, but that's likely true whenever you're doing policy analysis. The onus is often on you to find your own projects, which can be difficult for some.

Pros
The company offers good benefits packages
Cons
There is too much talk about work-life balance and not enough actual work-life balance. Company emails seem like spam after getting multiple emails a day.

Cons
Company is currently at a turning point and needs to find it's new direction

Pros
Good benefits, especially the transportation subsidy for taking public transit; good salary; supportive colleagues who help in those stressful times; and work-life balance that allows you to address personal matters and to work from home when needed.
Cons
Internal expertise is not always valued; professional development opportunities are limited; and politics among departments can be intense.

Pros
Really great people and culture. The company values work/life balance and institutes programs to ensure you remain a whole person. There is even a group that serves as a liaison between staff and leadership to ensure both voices are represented.
Cons
Annoying policies around department spending in place. Really impedes your ability to do your job well sometimes. Lots of politics going on in some of the divisions like IHD and many layers of people that get in the way with decision making.
