I have been working at AccentCare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Innovative company experiencing major growth. Senior leadership has innovative vision for the future. Tremendous positive change under current CEO, Steve Rodgers. Growth opportunities.

    Cons

Just like any other organization experiencing growth, the road is sometimes bumpy. Sometimes we make mistakes, and don't always execute on the level that we would like. Growing pains are a real thing. The culture here is to own those mistakes and continue to push forward because our patients and employees deserve our best.

    Advice to Management

Thank you. This business we are in is hard work at every level. Your dedication to patient care and developing higher value products and services within the home base healthcare space is greatly appreciated.

    Pros

Great Staff! Clinical Supervisors are knowledgeable and supportive.Great Patients!

    Cons

Understaffed! Overworked! No acknowledgement or compensation for loyalty or compassion.

    Advice to Management

Needs to be competitive with the current job market and recognize when you have loyal and compassionate nurses. They should be acknowledged and even compensated. A company is just a company without the staff needed to grow, especially in nursing.

    Pros

You can decide what fits in your life with flexible work skedule.

    Cons

No mention of possibly getting a raise(considering what our job requires us to do...minimum wage is a joke). Compensation for gas is also pathetic.

    Advice to Management

Explain the tiered mileage rate to employees. And would you do the things we have to do for clients for minimum wage?

    Pros

    Location, location, location, location, location

    Cons

Upper management not willing to share the wealth with employees. There are employees that have been here for 5 years with no raises. Upper management constantly says the company is doing great but no mention of raises. Raises are huge secret and not discussed at this company. The company does not match 401K.

I worked at AccentCare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Corporate theory on Values and Mission sound good.

    Cons

Denver office management style is Care-less, Aloof, and disassociated with the filed staff. Just research the reviews for this office over the past few years. The fact that nothing has actually been done speaks volumes to this company's priorities.

    Advice to Management

Once a company ruins its name in the local market with clinicians and referrals, its often too late to change the damaging reputation that lingers for years and years.

I have been working at AccentCare full-time

    Pros

This company had helped me growth tremendously during my time here. They have been supportive through all the ups and downs. They believe in continuous improvement and never claim to be perfect. This is the kind of company where you can truly come and make a difference. Love the people I work with!

    Cons

The healthcare industry can be a tough industry when you are heavily regulated. Sometimes these regulations make things challenging for companies to operate as efficiently or as effectively as we would like and invest more back into the employees. I'd say continue to find ways to do this despite these challenges!

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your employees and leaders - it does wonders!

    Pros

AccentCare takes care of their employees very well. We are in a challenging environment where reimbursement rates are low and not increasing and margins are thin, but even with that, we are compensated fairly and adequately.

    Cons

The benefits are kind of pricey for a family.
