    Cons

I need more hours during the weekend.

    Advice to Management

They need to keep going on improving the company.

I have been working at AccentCare part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The patients. Like an independent practice, creating own schedule, have control over which patients you see (e.g. can fire a patient for non-compliance). Supervisors are kind.

    Cons

Extremely poor, unlivable wages. Company is poorly organized.
Employees are required to put in time that is unpaid. E.g. multiple tasks are unpaid such as care coordination, phone calls to MD offices and patients/families. There is an expectation that clinicians are "on call" to answer email and phone calls throughout the day, even if seeing one patient during the day.
There is high staff turnover due to poor pay.

    Advice to Management

Please increase wages so that clinicians are able to afford to work this job. Pay for every minute of work completed. It is unacceptable to expect work for no pay.

    I worked at AccentCare full-time

    Pros

could have been a great position

    Cons

Corporate thinks paying an experienced RN a salary and then work them 24/7 on call, on weekends and throw you 50 bucks shows what they think about nurses. Marketing people calling the shots. Comical. First time ever I had to pay for my own supplies.....totally do not understand the business of medicine period or the heitchy of clinical ngmt.

    Advice to Management

If I wanted to work 70 hours a week, take call and work nights I would have stayed in acute care and gotten paid for it. Double time, shift differential etc. By the way you can run your company without the RNs. I see you are starting to offer the 5000 sign on bonuses. Which is equivalent to we don’t know how to keep clinical staff. Figure it out

I worked at AccentCare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was close to my home

    Cons

I was offered me a hourly pay rate and when I started my first day I noticed my pay was lower and when I said something Branch Manager denied offering more. Branch Manager also played favoritism for people that were brown nose with her, complete control freak and was threatened by smarter people. She is a difficult person to work for. Manipulative and compulsive liar.

    Advice to Management

You shouldn't of promoted that Branch Manager to something hire, she's a total brown nose and expects her staff to be the same way with her.

Casual attire and some fun after work events that are required.

    Cons

i have never been more stressed and anxious in my life. you have to make this company your life in and out of work. If not, your an "outsider", ridiculed for thinking "you're better" then them. It is a total family operation in a corp environment and I don't mean you feel like a family. Family members are hired and of course, put first.
