I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Strong focus on cultivating people
    - Ample opportunity to learn, for people who are driven

    Cons

    - Feel like working with different companies, when it comes to collaboration
    - Hard to find the right HR for your case, and may end up in a black hole

    Advice to Management

    - Improve internal documentation process, to minimize conflict of information b/w HR and what is published.
    - Keep pushing for learning, and growing a stronger/smarter workforce

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Career lateral movement opportunities. Turnover for young employees is very high.

    Cons

Some projects have very poor life/work balance. Lots of unplanned work.

    Advice to Management

Estimate and negotiate better terms for employees.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great clients but you are not able to specialize in your skills and they do not give you vendor trainings for certifications. There are benefits but actually have high out of pocket.

    Cons

    Lots of politics
    No work life balance
If they know that you can do more work, they will fire/roll-off other person and give you the assignments without any replacement

    Advice to Management

Take care of your loyal workers. There are more politicians that work in the government already, so you don't need one in a corporate environment.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Experience in a variety of industries, generally helpful and understanding colleagues, and there are places to go in the company

    Cons

Focus on optics over production and use of outdated methodologies/technologies because of stupid reasons. BAs usually don't understand the technology they're selling so most of the time we can't deliver what they're asking

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your devs

I have been working at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly people and management. Workload is not too stressful.

    Cons

Lowest salary and worst benefits in the industry for the same type of work.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more flexibility in terms of the types of work we can do, and don't mislead anyone with false descriptions for project positions. I signed up for a particular position and the work is "nothing" as described on the portal. There is not much I can do to change the unsatisfying work I am doing other than switching projects.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is consulting company, what do you expect? Good for consultant, not anything else.
    Managers came in really late.

    Cons

Live with less than 50K compensation. No pay raise for first year.
Most freshers are testers because there aren't many developers opportunities...this is bad.
Out of dozen freshers, all with great performance reviews from the team leads, only one got promoted in less than a year. I think it has to do with the local budget and relationship with upper management(you probably wouldn't able to see them).

    Advice to Management

    Nothing, I'm out.
