    Pros

It is good if someone wants to stay for a long term. There is least chance of getting fired.

    Cons

Work Life balance is not satisfactory. Too many process and training which are not concentrated to drive the effort in a productive fashion.

    Advice to Management

Improve the moderation process. Concentrate more on improving skills of resources outside project as well.

    Pros

Awesome benefits, co-workers, PTO's the best, they'll bring in food when working OT or Weekend

    Cons

Favoritism, nepotism, management needs ethnic training & know how to do job of the people they're managing... Please don't relocate for Job, you'll regret its a BPO which means you can be laid off at anytime.

    Advice to Management

Stop placing people in positions they didn't sign on for to fill a seat & stop making promises your unable to fulfill.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked at a branch in Charlotte called Accenture Credit Services, which was formerly an independent company aquired by Accenture.

    - Opportunity to show extra skills by assisting managers, which develops loyalty in the smaller platform atmosphere of the company
    - Decent pay and well-defined overtime standards
    - Ability to advance from within

    Cons

    - Platforms sometimes operate on project basis, meaning many employees are hired to finish pipeline but not all can be retained
    - This has improved since my time in the company, but there was an issue with shoddy management for a period after the aquisition. I believe most of this has self-corrected as poor managers and management styles were identified and dealt with.

    Pros

Benefits and pay are good. Also it was great to work with offshore teams.

    Cons

It's a pretty cool culture and turnover is high. Management doesn't think twice about eliminating staff.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good exposure, culture and growth.
Provides opportunity to work closely with clients and generate a good rapport with them.

    Cons

Performance review process have serious flaws.
Poor managers with no insight of what is happening internally in their team.
Difficult to focus on industry and self growth/expertise.
Also v.limited opportunities to switch within the organization to a different role.
    Experienced employees are not valued.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on Performance management, since it has serious flaws. I know a lot of my co-workers switching to other organizations since it makes them unhappy.
Need to provide better salary as on par market standards.

I worked at Accenture (More than a year)

    Pros

If you buy into the culture, and the culture buys into you, a huge amount of exposure and opportunity world wide

    Cons

They do not always practice their core values, and respect for the individual might be hard to find. The communication between Sales staff and client contact staff was limited, even after concerns were registered with Team Lead.

    Advice to Management

Check how many associates registered concerns with Managers, who promised follow-up, and never hear anything. Manager Open Door policy is good in theory, but when issues are raised and do not get followed up on by Manager (which is against corporate policy) it adds to the job frustration.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very willing to find you more work if one platform contract expires.

    Cons

Some of the managers over the platforms shouldn't be managers due to their experience or knowledge; or should I say lack of knowledge.

    Advice to Management

If you ask your employees to push, push, and work overtime. Then please do not complain about overtime when it's payday.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their biggest strength are their employees because they are very helpful and knowledgeable of their job. The company as a whole strong really believe in their set of core values and seeks to uphold them in everything they do. Truly a Global company where alot of business is in India

    Cons

They are an out-servicing company so at any moment a contract can close with a client and you would have to move to another client or be let go. They really do believe in the saying "These chairs have wheels for a reason" because at any moment you could be working with a new client. The pay is not good for this economy. Company feels more like a temp agency

    Advice to Management

Just be honest with your employees when the time comes about possible job losses. Change your mindset about keeping a close door policy where the employees are the last to know of any new changes
