I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good on CV
    Large clients/projects
    Opportunities for travel
Strong emphasis on job skills training

    Cons

Not many consulting projects, mostly just project management
Extremely political; align early with an MD or simply forget progression (and even then it's a maybe)
    Performance evals opaque and nepotistic
Very limited trust between employees - relationships normally fairly frosty
Supports toxic people if they deliver
    Payrises non-existent
Investment Banking hours but definitely not investment banking salaries

    Advice to Management

Start over entirely on Performance Evaluation and Management
    Pay people more

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, global reach, large and complex customers, all kind of consultant offers going from strategy over digital to operations and off-shoring, focus on people development

    Cons

Very over processed, highly complex and intransparent organisation, even though the company is global, in reality it is a compilation of local companies with limited global interaction

    Advice to Management

Apply our own medicin on process optimisation and organisational structure, i.e. simplify, eliminate and think about when to automate. Recognise that not everything can be handled by robots on "black-hole"-email addresses

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Accenture as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interesting opportunities for interns with real responsabilities even when during a gap year. Mostly nice people to work with within Accenture.

    Cons

Some long days when it is rush within the project. Results are awaited from you whatever your level is within the company

    Advice to Management

It would be easier to adapt if the managment took time to explain you things when you begin within Accenture but I guess they have no time for it.

I have been working at Accenture (More than a year)

    Pros

Many opportunities to work abroad for a certain period of time. However you do need to possess the matching skills set. You will get nicely compensated for being away from home.

    Cons

Not be the best people in the industry.

    Advice to Management

Provide better training opportunities. Promote based on performance and not merely on goodwill.
