I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked for Accenture for almost 13 years. If my wife had not been transferred to another location in her career, I would have happily continued my employment at Accenture all the way until retirement.

    Cons

Depending on the division you go into, it can be very fast paced. A common analogy in Accenture is "putting your mouth to the firehose." But they do hire the best, so you are never in it alone. You always have support, but it can be a lot right when you first start.

I worked at Accenture as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Usually provide free meals or at least free snacks. You get to meet people from everywhere in the world. That's about it.

    Cons

Terrible Treatment if you don't hold a high position in the company. They can decide to terminate your contract at any moment in time without giving you a reason which I find stupid.

    Advice to Management

You got to change your attitude towards your employees if you want them to be happy at your company and work effectively.

    Pros

    Not very demanding.

Excellent to start a new career path, learn a new field or just continue your career.

The temporary contract from HAYS doesn´t include any sick or such.
Training need to improve a lot. (At the moment is inexistent or delivered by colleagues)

    Advice to Management

Most of the Management is ppl who got promoted and moved from one project to another. That leave no room for improvement on their management skills.
Hire some external management with experience.
Stop promoting ppl just for the amount of time in the company. Do it for the right reasons as capabilities, etc... Or else, form them! Train them! Turn them into the best ever possible!
Get rid of your Recruiters. Build careers for ppl so you will retain talent. Create a path for the employees. Train them! Form them! Care for them and they will care for you!
