I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Employee benefits in Accenture is excellent compared to any other organization. There are number of programs that help employees balance a successful career with a healthy lifestyle involving family, friends and community.

    Cons

Rating system is totally screwed up. Team leads, Managers and senior managers are literally worried about whom to rate at bottom (as 10% bottom is mandatory) right from beginning of performance cycle.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the right talent and reward based on the merit not based on the closeness which the resources enjoys with the sr mgmt.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You can learn so much as long as you pursue your career goals and work at making it happen. Support system is there in place for you with lots of very smart people.

    Cons

New regional model makes it harder to work on projects that align with your career goals. Leadership can be your friend if you follow along but will turn on you if you decide to move a different direction.

    Advice to Management

You do hire the best people but at the same time the best people leave when not recognized or supported.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Company Policy & Career Opportunity
    Diversity

    Cons

Pretty difficult to change a project at on-shore
Management needs to come up with better answers while reviewing performance, they usually rate you at "Met Expectation" level if they gave On-shore Opportunity & come up with some stories why you achieved that rather than "Exact Points".
Eventually No compensation Benefit in past 2 years, but expects you take up higher role & responsibility.
Manager's are usually driven on "How to increase Profit & Head Count.."
Never had a one-on-one discussion focussing "Employee Need & Growth"
Career Counselor Program is a "JOKE"

    Advice to Management

Not Frequent, but at least 2 sessions in a Year that will focus on Employee Career and Growth
QQ : Company is willing to offer a lot to new hire replacing a person resigned, but why not take care of the existing 'Employee"?
