I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Possibility to learn, travel.
It is a company that can put you on 5-star hotels easily if you are willing to travel for work.

    Cons

43+ hours of work per week.
You have work time exemption to get the salary and everything you do is owned, so even if you develop an application at home, you can be sued for that.
Lots of people quit, lots of people join, lots of attrition and stress there. After one year of internship 20% of the company joined after me.
Lots of informatics get burnouts whilst others do few real work.

    Advice to Management

Give more time to rest to the employees
Productivity matters, so treat better people.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

One global network and a great place to learn professional delivery of large scale projects

    Cons

    Travel and work life balance

    Advice to Management

The value proposition of global delivery quality and being a global brand with capacity to deliver anywhere is not as clear when projects became smaller and faster in a digital disruption/disrupter's environment/world.

I have been working at Accenture part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Accenture is the most ethical company I have ever seen at work. It is the living evidence that it pays to do the right thing, even if it only pays in the long term. The focus is effectively on the best for our clients and our people. It's one of the very few consulting firms in Portugal where flexible work style is a reality.

    Cons

If you don't like to work hard, this is not the company for you. If you want to benefit from a flexible work arrangement, you must be prepared to be flexible yourself too, and accept that it may slowdown the progress of your career. And there is a chance that your supervisor is not so accepting of this option.

    Advice to Management

Flexible work arrangements are very important for a lot of people, and we need an enforcement at local level.

I worked at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everything is well organized and smooth. There is a process for everyhting. It is an american company - and it shows.

    Cons

Some managers/projects are a mess. But like any consultancy, it kinda depends where you end up.
