I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team work. Strong IT team based in India. Lots of resources. Good way to get client experience. Good leadership.

    Cons

Salary increase is not satisfactory every year even though company is doing well. Good thing they are moving away from laddering but the performance eval process is still not clear.

    Advice to Management

Consultants and analysts do your leg work on all project. If you don't pay them well they will leave or boomer rang, which you end up paying them more anyways.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with in the consulting practice, HR Department is always ready to help and is flexible with work arrangements, constant opportunity to learn and advance industry knowledge, competitive compensation, incredible career projection/trajectory.

    Cons

Although some get lucky, most people will have to travel for extended periods of time. Like all major companies, compensation starts to fall behind what the market is willing to pay over time. Work/Life Balance can be skewed at times, by nature consultants work two jobs: 1 = Client Work, 2 = Company Work.

    Advice to Management

You're doing a great job, retain talent by ensuring your compensation packages are as lucrative as financially possible for the firm.

Great opportunities. No complaints about my compensation. Teammates are almost always intelligent and great to work with.

The company is starting to nit-pick things like expenses. They have also instituted a regional model in the US, putting another level of management to review everything.
