    I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Supposedly a good name for your resume. You can filter out all the pointless emails they send you every day.

    Cons

    It's hard to tell if leadership is incompetent, completely disorganized, or intentionally lying. They make promises to clients they can't cash, are package non-announcements as "innovative" ideas. They are good at promoting themselves and their "tools" but there's nothing to back it up. Also you have never attended so many meetings in your life. And not a one of them have had a legitimate purpose.

    Advice to Management

    Actively listen and engage your employees rather than downplay their experiences because it doesn't match yours (particularly when you live in your own world - of course it won't match their experience). Focus on delivering not just meeting to cover up for your lack of experience.

    Pros

    none at the moment. you get free coffee but other than that office politics have taken over any other benefit of working here

    Cons

    severely underpaid, the culture has gone way down over the past 4 years. lack of benefits, roles, and no new technologies available here. any smart ideas for improving in this area is immediately dismisses

    Advice to Management

    it would be great if there were actually local developers and local managers working at this office.

    I worked at Accenture as a contractor

    Pros

    Big company that does stuff

    Cons

    Horrible leadership, people are seen as expendable, uniqueness is not rewarded.

    Advice to Management

    Get over yourselves. Global lead of emerging tech used to be a good guy but now thinks he's above respect and common courtesy.

    I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It is a good place for those who need some experience or are ready to retire. The organization as a whole does some very interesting and good work; however, opportunities are very limited, if available, at this distribution center.

    Cons

    As a third party the work is very passive and information is only received when it is important to the client for the work to get placed. Most of the work is "busy" work, rather than "productive" work.

    Advice to Management

    Use your people and the knowledge they have.

    I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Big company with a lot of resources;
    - The company location in Brazil / São Paulo is good: near the train station;
    - A lot of coworkers are verz nice! This makes things better!
    - If you were hired by the brand Vivere Brasil you would receive more money for extra work on weekends for example. I am not sure for a person that was hired purely by Accenture;

    Cons

    - I was hired by the company VIVEREBRASIL and it was acquired by Accenture; the good atmosphere from VIVEREBRASIL was completely turned down!

    - LOW salaries! Remember that! Accenture does not pay well! The opposite: very bad!

    - EXTREM BUREOUCRACY! There is a famous study regarding IBM: they took THREE MONTHS to send a box from one building to another one! In Accenture this is twice as worse! Think about absurds bureoucracy to approve buyings, projects , reimbursements, etc etc!

    - The managers do not care!. We saw people doing bad things (like screaming, fighting, offenses) and the managers did not care!

    - A LOT, A LOT of work hours! You are going to work a lot of hours and this must have a limit! The incredible thing is that there is a famous saying from them that you hear when you go home that is "WHAT IS THIS? ARE YOU UNMOTIVATED!"! They make you think guilty for working normal hours! An absurd culture!!! Work/Life balance is absolute necessary! Never forget that! A lot of people had health problems (psychological and physical) because of this culture!

    - The company technical is controlled by Indians (yes, directly from India!) and they are not the easiest persons to deal with;

    - POINTING FINGERS CULTURE: management likes to find someone guilty instead to discuss a problem!;

    - Arrogancy: the most common phrase you listen is "we will scalate that to the president!";

    - Promotions favors boot lickers/Brown nosers: yes, if you are a JERK/BOOT LICKER/BROWN NOSER you get a promotion! ABSURD!;

    - Accenture transforms you in a consultant robot: you learn that you must ONLY FIND THE PROBLEMS: you point the finger ans SOMEONE ELSE will solve the problem!

    - Security extrem paranoia: your notebook has SO MANY security vigilance software that the machine soffers from performance! Can you tell me WHY WOULD YOU NEED a software that controls the bult-in "Run As Admin" ? Unbelievable!. EVERYTHING is under surveilance, including every e-mail and your webcam!.

    Advice to Management

    - Managers: have more responsability and END the culture of JERK/BOOT LICKER/BROWN NOSER; promotions based on that ends the company morale!!

    - Pointing finger is BAD! That does NOT HELP WITH ANYTHING! People will simply hide! Stop doing that!
