I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, flexibility (dependent on direct mgmt), sense of community (also a con), people (also a con, this place needs to learn to "trim the fat," literally no one gets fired, even if you're a terrible employee)

    Cons

Favoritism, micro-management (dependent on team, of course), sense of community (drama, yes as in school-age kid drama), disconnect between mgmt & subordinates, people (sometimes a pro)

    Advice to Management

Stop getting blinded by your "status" or "level" and reconnect with employees under you.

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Plenty of client opportunities if you have the experience (especially if you're near a major metro region)
    - Fair amount of flexibility if your manager is understanding, which is often the case
    - Great name recognition, great culture
    - Training opportunities

    Cons

-Even with their regional initiative, the commute is often still incredibly long, as their regions are very large
    - Mediocre pay, at least for a software dev position
    - Not much regard to work-life balance
    - If you are entry level or have relatively little experience, quantities of opportunities are very limited, in addition, a lot of the training, at least when I trained, seems to try to corral people into software dev even if that wasn't directly their background/career goals.
    - At least in my case, the team I was placed in was so streamlined that there often wasn't enough redundancy in case issues occurred.

    Advice to Management

None really, changes are being made so hopefully they're for the better.

    Pros

People are great, pretty flexible on location

    Cons

Tough to move between different industries, internal groups are in their own silos.

    Pros

Good company, thank for the opportunity to work here.

    Cons

You don't have much opportunities to grow in your professional path, The people usually work in the same position for years, the salary is the same for year also. This good to stay for 2 o 3 year and move

    Pros

Networking is great as you get to work with different clients in different projects within the organization

    Cons

Travel is mandatory. There's favoritism when it comes to placement.

    Advice to Management

    Avoid bureaucracy.
