I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Accenture focus on building and supporting enterprise software, so you get experience working with large companies and government institutions.

Accenture puts a lot of effort on helping employees with migratory and travel needs, and they take good care of them.

    Cons

Since most clients are big companies, most projects will follow more classic enterprise project management. Not a great choice if you expect a startup-like work environment.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good brand name for your resume, decent enough introduction into enterprise programming.

    Cons

Work isn't always challenging or interesting. It's a large corporation that's pretty impersonal.

    Advice to Management

Disperse work better and make more of an effort to establish one-on-one relationships with employees.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You will work like a race horse. You will learn a lot. You will be trained pretty well. All of these things will benefit you as an employee, whether with Accenture or not. Fringe benefits are pretty good, although since the economy has turned around the last handful of years, more and more companies are becoming competitive with what Accenture offers; you get the typical "fortune 500 company" benefits package.

    Cons

If you are in the consulting workforce, this doesn't apply to you - the base salary pay is deplorable; the yearly raises don't even meet inflation rates. Bonuses are just as bad lately, and are not based on this principle of "meritocracy" like Accenture preaches.

    Advice to Management

I have no advice for management, because Accenture is a monster and the gears will keep turning no matter what.

    Pros

Good company, thank for the opportunity to work here.

    Cons

You don't have much opportunities to grow in your professional path, The people usually work in the same position for years, the salary is the same for year also. This good to stay for 2 o 3 year and move

I worked at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some good managers who give structured feedback, lots of opportunities to learn new technical skills

    Cons

Cumbersome procedures and training. They rank employees against each other and hire a ton of undergrads straight out of school who know nothing and the pay the developers who do the work less than them

    Advice to Management

Too many managers and business analysts, not enough developers who can do the work

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great compensation package. You will learn a lot. Work with smart people. Flexible hours. Lots of PTO. Diverse environment. Great culture.

    Cons

They take care of you really well as long as they need you. But they drop you like a hot potato as soon as they don't need you anymore. It doesn't matter if you're a great employee.

    Advice to Management

Please take care of your best people even after they roll off.
