Pros
Lots of different opportunities to learn and a lot of educational material is given to learn new skills and techniques Opportunities to grow your network if you choose to do so
Cons
You're a small fish in a big pond. It can be challenging to land on an engagement with clients if you don't reach out and connect with people within the company. It's a number's game

Pros
I think in Accenture it really depends on which project you are working on. Experiences can vary depending on who is the project lead. So far my experience has been great and I have gotten a lot of learning opportunities
Cons
Long working hours sometimes. Need to be very proactive as you climb the ladder.

Pros
get exposure when working with different clients and requirement. got opportunity to work with one of my best mentor and learned a lot within short period and exciting
Cons
- working hours is 9.30 hrs - bonus amount are disappointing - Micro management

Pros
Great opportunities and lots of opportunity to get involved in new and exciting side of desk
Cons
You get lost in the machine and if you don't have someone guiding you it's very difficulty. Regional Offices are treated differently than London and projects are more tech delivery than consulting
- 3.0Nov 10, 2014Senior ConsultantFormer Employee, more than 1 yearLondon, England
Pros
It provides a good ecosystem for career development and lots of opportunities to work cross industry which include top global companies
Cons
It takes a while to figure out the culture and fit into especially if you've come from a non-consulting background. Getting a promotion is a bloody nightmare and you really need to know the right set of people, your performance and skills just might take a back seat here.
- 5.0Nov 15, 2018Strategy AnalystCurrent Employee, more than 1 yearSingapore
Pros
Great team, fun people, reasonable work-life balance for a consultancy, and fairly interesting projects for Accenture Strategy. I've had a lot of fun and opportunity to travel for work (though that's a double-edged sword as much as it sounds like a dream). Reasonable opportunities and great flexibility at work (working from home here and there, showing up super late, etc., as long as your work is done)
Cons
Lacking brand name, but that's in progress! Missing resources to do the job sometimes, such as specialised databases and research Office equipment could be better to facilitate work, such as better laptops and screens, etc. Underpaid relative to competitors at junior levels. Gets better as you progress. Bonus and increments can be a little underwhelming. I feel there's some lack of diversity in the senior management.

Pros
It's good for freshers to join as there is lot of opportunities to learn and enhance your skills
Cons
Some time management ruins the process

Pros
On the whole the company has a very positive culture which heavily promotes inclusive, mental health, LGBT and other communities. There is a good range of work available across all industries and potential to move between these at lower career levels There are plenty of opportunities provide for individual learning and development and accreditation which can be taken (e.g. AWS, Visual Analytics, Agile) Good compensation and benefits outside of your standard salary (e.g. pension contributions, gym subsidies) Hours are reasonable for consulting (~45/50)
Cons
A lot of implementation based roles exist which are very basic and provide little development opportunity at Analyst/Consultant Scheduling and management can heavily dictate your ability to move between roles should you wish to move to another line of service or cross-industry
- 1.0Mar 28, 2015Consulting Senior ManagerFormer Employee, more than 10 years
Pros
- pays relatively OK - meritocracy until m-level - glocal (global + local) - gives a chance to graduates with less prestigious diplomas (esp. in the IT sector)
Cons
-not truly global -success out is a myth -fewer and fewer career opportunities as the demographic pyramid ages (lot and lots of old partners)
- 3.0Feb 6, 2014Senior Software EngineerFormer Employee, more than 1 yearBengaluru
Pros
Accenture as a brand value and the opportunity to learn a lot of technical and non-technical skills
Cons
The work is not that great. Employees are expected to work more hours than required. Need to have connects and contacts to grow. Working mothers might find it hard sometimes in few projects.
