    Pros

You will receive your insurance license to sell personal line insurance

    Cons

The hours of the shifts. The requirements to move from office to office and the marketing are too much to ask for the salary that's offered.

    Advice to Management

Show some concern for your employees and do more to allow people to have a more balanced work life schedule

I worked at Acceptance Insurance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Potential for good money, good agents and csr's but company bottom line is focus, not customers needs.

    Cons

Unrealistic time frame to complete all needed in a day by management. Claim adjusters slammed, too many cases. Customers very unhappy with service after claim filed. Staff Turnover is huge

    Advice to Management

Stop with constant management request/demands, taking all agent time. Get claims dept adequately staffed and provide good claim service. Appreciate good employees and work to keep instead of just replacing often.

I worked at Acceptance Insurance full-time

    Pros

If you like working form 9-6 and with minimal supervision this sis the place for you

    Cons

Terrible pay, with terrible health package. The employee has to go out and flyer neighborhood to gain the one business, and they are not reimbursed for the cash.

    Advice to Management

Pay more than $11.00 an hour, with better benefits. You have over 1500 employee, stop making your employee pay 80% of their insurance

    Pros

Money is okay there really isn't anything else that is good about working here. I don't enjoy coming to work.

    Cons

Hours are horrible you have to work every sat and if you need a day off you have to use your paid time off otherwise you can't take off. Management isn't that great either. There expectations are ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

At least work till 1 on sat and weekly pay checks

    Pros

The hours are great and the job keeps you busy

    Cons

This company tolerated unprofessional behavior from top producing agents. I worked with an agent who used profanity in every sentence. When I complained I was told she is just like that and is one of the top producers.

    Advice to Management

Hold your people accountable for all aspects of their job not just the bottom line

I have been working at Acceptance Insurance full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Hard working fellow employees. Front line supervisors care about their employees and do the best they can

    Cons

With pay being on the lower end of the industry standard, no raises over the last five years, minimal benefit package and no bonuses or incentives for exceptional work, there is no incentive to excel. Adjusters work load is well above industry standard. Little or no training, so if you haven't worked in insurance before, you are pretty much thrown to the wolves and then disciplined if you make a mistake.

    Advice to Management

Develop a real, comprehensive training division that does more then develop onboard training for agents. Reward employees who go above and beyond. Provide adequate staffing so adjusters can provide the level of customer service policy holders deserve.

    Pros

    I dont see one !

    Cons

The Lombard Office has been without a review or increase of salaries for the past 3 years some employees even more. Salaries are completly unequal !! Company needs to focus on
a campain to re-adjust and equal all job posiitons. Health Care is poor very poor.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so many VP and start taking care of your bottom employees
