    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Access Nursing Services full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I LOVE THE customer service representative attitudes towards Patient's and family care.and the team work. That brings understanding and work goes smoothly for the day.

    Cons

The administration should create an adversory BOX WHERE STAFF should CRY out AND SPEAK OUT their mind WITH OUT FEAR.

    Advice to Management

Advice to the manager, when ever there is report about a STAFF member don't just rush over him or her and SAY GO home.Remember there are two side TO a coin.Firing some one JUST like that because some one reported. Always think about GOD and have mercy. This is life.

I worked at Access Nursing Services full-time

    Pros

Worked with some great and smart people. The golden age of the company was when they had hired the right people who cared about the company and offered their all. The CEO is very empathetic and kind. Company HAD a great culture.

    Cons

Management and always want to lowball you on pay. Watched great people getting let go; the ones that had help build the company from satisfactory to great.

    Advice to Management

Know who your key players are and compensate them respectively, that's how the company will retain the great talents. Re-evaluate the healthcare benefits for family coverage and negotiate a better rate.

I worked at Access Nursing Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A decent company to get your feet wet in the healthcare and nursing industry. Execute on your skill set correctly and you should get a raise at least once, even twice, within year 1.

    Cons

There's a lack of authentic employee praise/incentive, which discourages most employees from going the extra mile. Additionally, employees at the management level are not held accountable for their blunders. Also, be very careful about trying to grow out of your starting role, you will most likely be held back unfortunately.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to take healthy risks. Particularly when it comes to hiring, promotions, and even dismissals; but also in terms of innovation. Tech conglomerates will eventually make a run at your market share and it's important to be prepared.

I worked at Access Nursing Services

    Pros

    - Fun environment and team - You actually get to know the leadership, and they actually listen - Small enough company to learn a lot, big enough that you're having an impact - Always growing new services, so things are always changing - Managers really care about each individual. I mean really, really care.

    Cons

    - A bit disorganized at times, a lot of directives without consulting the entire team. Thank goodness everyone has a "can-do" attitude - Everything is done the "old-fashioned way" so things move slowly

    Advice to Management

    - Hire more people. There are so many departments that are only one person and as much as they love their jobs, they can't do it by themselves (although they'll never tell you that because they are all really good at what they do)
