    I worked at Acciona full-time

    Pros

Acciona is a leader developing utility-scale renewables in Latin America and Europe. Working there exposes you to world's iconic projects that look great on a resume.

    Cons

Extremely high turnaround at the Mexico offices. Career development is virtually none for non-spanish citizens. Compensation is below market value.

    Advice to Management

    Develop local talent.

I worked at Acciona full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity to step up and take responsibility.
Good work culture on projects under construction.

    Cons

Working culture outside projects is dry.
Role often varies from initial job description and multiple manages mean you have to manage your managers to avoid unrealistic work load. If you decide to take it on agree to additional remuneration before undertaking the task. Hard work doesn’t garantee pay rises.

    Advice to Management

Stick to the scope/ job description and subcontract short term business needs.

I worked at Acciona full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The health and dental benefits package was pretty good.

    Cons

No RRSP. If you weren't Spanish, you were treated like garbage. The only people promoted or offered to move to other locations within the company were Spanish. Raises and bonuses were not given for a job well done, they were given to the Spanish, the favorites, the butt kissers. If you spoke up about anything or anyone, you were let go.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to Spain!!!!

I have been working at Acciona full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation and benefits package. Attractive international opportunities in many sectors

    Cons

Slow hiring process and small engineers team. This means long hours and stressful environment.

    Advice to Management

Shortage in Acciona employees within big projects leads to project overcost and quality reduction.

I worked at Acciona full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laughing at the incompetence of ego over capability supported by a HR division on the range crossing who was the worst operators I have ever seen.

    Cons

As a Senior Australian Project Management professional or a practitioner with any other capability, I would recommend that you never go near this organisation and you save yourself the grief of working in this kindergarten of egos supported by incompetent staff.

    Advice to Management

Start again and clean ranks. There are huge knowledge gaps across your business and our community support commitments are appalling.
