I have been working at Acclaris full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This used to be a great company where everyone helped each other.

    Cons

Culture changed 3 years ago when the founder left and a new CEO was brought in. The new CEO ran off all the experienced folks who really understood the company, our business and clients. In exchange, the company got an excessive amount of Sr VPs/VPs brown noser types that disrespected their employees destroying all things positive about this company.

The CEO & a few of his minions ( Sr. VPs/VPs) have left in the past few months. There are still more of his team that don't contribute to the health of the company that need to be gently persuaded to leave.

    Advice to Management

The moral has gotten a little better since WTW purchased Acclaris - at least now there is "hope" that things will improve. The sad news is the majority of the knowledge workers are gone and the clients are deserting a sinking ship. WTW will have a tough time rebuilding an inclusive culture where everyone contributes and all ideas are valuable.

    Pros

    Great people to work with.

If you need assistance, management are always there to help.

Management are flexible with hours as long as the needs of the company are met.

The director is very easy to work with.

The facility is a great place to work in.

    Cons

The only thing I don't like is that there are no cubicles, we are just sitting next to each other.

I worked at Acclaris full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The biggest pro is I got out. My life and health improved ten fold the moment I walked out that door.

    Cons

This is the worst company I have EVER worked for. The things I witnessed and was made to take part of were disgusting. I walked on egg shells every minute of every day. Credit is never giving but you will take all the blame.

    Advice to Management

You really need to conduct exit interviews. People don't just up and leave after working for company for years with no reasons. You need to review facts before approving a PIP. Your call center alone has lost so many people in a short amount of time under the direction of ONE person. As another person mentioned law suits are being filed.

I have been working at Acclaris full-time

    Pros

We are finally being integrated into the bigger company, Willis Towers Watson, and positive change has begun. Our benefits are now from Willis Towers Watson such as 401k and health benefits and vacation.

Our business processes are also changing with the other lines of business we work with.

Fun environment with good people. We work hard but have fun doing it.

    Free coffee, tea, and soda.

Best of all, we can wear jeans EVERYDAY! 😄

    Cons

I have noticed that employees who have been with the company a long time can struggle with the change and have a negative attitude. But not many of them are still around.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the environment fun!

I have been working at Acclaris full-time

    Pros

Sorry to say there are no pros at that company.

    Cons

You have a Director who is a payholical liar. She pits people against one another. She managed to get a VP fired..with an alagation that was completely unture.

    Advice to Management

You need a pay attention. Do your own investigation. What is going on screams lawsuits.

I have been working at Acclaris full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free soda and coffee. Also, covered parking.

    Cons

Where do I start? The managers treat their employees like modern day slaves. There is no respect for those in the area around you on phone calls. I've had people on calls tell me that they could hear someone who was yelling in the background clear as day through the phone. Guess what kind of image that sends. Apparently this is normal and we are supposed to put up with it because this person has "pull". Promotions are based upon who you know as well. Once you walk through the door, you can feel how low the morale is. Don't talk my word for it? Have a look at the other reviews.

    Advice to Management

Stop throwing your employees under the bus and looking for someone to point the finger at. Maybe then you'll get some loyalty. Also, the CEO is one of the worst I've seen throughout my 20 year career. Too much favoritism and zero respect for employees.

Acclaris hires people - no HS diploma required . CrIrmal record? No problem you're hired and we will promote you too.

    Cons

The company is a complete joke.

Clean house - start at the top.
