Recruiters are wonderful! Anytime I have had a question or problem, my recruiter has responded very quickly. Accountable staff has always been very friendly and have treated me like a person, not like a number. I love that my recruiter calls every couple of weeks just to check in and make sure everything is going okay. They work with your needs, such as schedule, desired shift, desired travel, etc. Pay is great and you receive a paycheck every week.
Cons
There are cons to any travel position. There is little to no orientation to your position at the hospitals or other facilities. There is less job security due to the nature of contract positions. Travel nursing is not for everybody, but I have met many travel nurses that love it. I know I do.
