I worked at Accretive Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smart people, Hard workers, Good Compensation

    Cons

This company had three CEO's in a five years span so needless to say there were changes being implemented constantly. Makes things a little unnerving and doesn't help with a persons confidence in the company.

I worked at Accretive Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A place to work and gain basic Medicare knowledge until you can find a better opportunity within another company.

    Cons

Working with various Personality A types who are complacent and have no clear knowledge of how Revenue Management is suppose to work.
IF YOU LIKE BEING MICROMANAGED THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Being lied to by management about things that are important to you. (Schedule; Benefits; Potential Growth Opportunities)
    No work-life balance whatsoever.
Below Average pay- They claim they are competitive but are not.
Cleanliness if not a priority, even with a new facility the women's bathroom is nasty and always has a stench. Microwaves are disgusting.
    No stability.
Management thrives on intimidation and fear.
No training except the basic log in/out of systems.
New college graduates who have never worked in the industry and don't know how to prioritize their own work let alone yours.
    Unpleasant Leadership
In order to make it here you need to be an expert in "brown nosing"

    Advice to Management

Start giving an initial assessment to diversify the workforce instead of doing mass hiring thru various temporary agencies, who are looking for a body to make money of off. Stop having long meetings about nothing; well constantly lying to employees about the great benefits provided. Start talking to employees on a regular basis to obtain a census on moral because no one likes their job and they're constantly looking for an exit. Everything that has to do what the employee is in YELLOW! Clearly that is an indication that the people on the ground are severely unimpressed/unhappy with their jobs. Stop sending government based programs to India and then having US employees fix the errors. Daily DRM's are useless and provide no real strategic action only to be told about numbers.
