I have been working at Accurate Background full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They constantly show employees appreciation for their work and contribution towards the companies success . Great benefits & pay .

    Cons

Little to no human interaction. You’re constantly on computers every day. You have a meeting with your supervisor once a month and it’s hard for them to know you as a person so I can imagine development is a challenging step . You’re work is counted down to the minute by a computer formula so they know if you’re truly working or not so if you meet your goal you’re fine but most people do so it’s hard to stand out from others

    Advice to Management

Have supervisors interact with their team more to learn who would like to cross train or possibly develop

I worked at Accurate Background full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A lot of opportunities for overtime, flexible schedule.

    Cons

Very low morale among representatives in the department. The quality of middle management is low. They consistently emphasize that you're always being watched, and do not reward positive performance. If you work really hard, you don't get penalized, which is the extent of recognition for good employees. The pay is decent at best for the position. Better pay would likely incentivize better customer service for the average person in the department.

    Advice to Management

Hire/train better middle-management. The culture in the CS department is that of a lot of mistrust and paranoia, which fosters really poor relationships between management and their team. These poor relationships erode at the quality of representative's customer service.

I worked at Accurate Background full-time

    Pros

Growing company earning marketshare; coming up on the bigger screening companies.

    Cons

It's one thing to value clients; it's another thing to allow clients (low margin ones at that) to run your company. Substantial confusion between Account Management and Customer Service tasks; if you expect your AMs to bring in revenue, don't make them customer service agents. Also - inexperienced, immature and intimidated middle management is costing the company big time with finicky managerial practices - hope the exec level knows what's going on.

    Advice to Management

Keep an eye on your middle management; bad decisions costs $
