    I have been working at Accuray full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Get to work from home and pay is pretty good. Can mostly set you own schedule.

    Cons

    Sometimes have to work late and on some weekends.

    Listen to what FSEs have to say.

    Competitive pay for a medical device company. Cool Technology

    Cons

    Working almost every other weekend and lots of late nights during the week for field service seems to be the norm for this company. Very poor work life balance. The company has had 2 layoffs since I was hired 9 months ago. Also lots of problems with bad parts and out of date procedures that frankly are useless. It's like trying to fix something without using your hands. It doesn't work very well. I can't wait to...

    Pros

    Cutting edge technology, innovators, Great salary and benefits.

    Cons

    - part quality issues. - dishonest management - distrustful and confrontational micromanagement - running on perpetual skeleton crew / minimum manpower - expect to work including on call 12 hours/day minimum, routinely go above and beyond your duties to accomplish results

    Advice to Management

    Hire more FSEs, invest in better parts testing and replace older componentry. Dont abuse/stretch your employees...
