    Pros

    -Decent benefits
    -Paid vacation time
    -Comprehensive training

    Cons

-schedule is inconsistent without rhyme or reason
-too many problems with equipment, management, and systems
-upper management unwilling to acknowledge disconnect between numbers from reports and front line experiences.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge that if your turnover rate is astronomically high, you need to look within instead of placing blame and ignoring the problems that push employees out the door.

I worked at Ace Cash Express full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There really isnt any pros to working for this company.

    Cons

I dont even know where to starr with the cons. Long hours with no break because you work by yourself. Benifits are way to high. They push you and threaten write ups if you dont meet their goals that they set no matter what. Two faced management and you can never get a straight answer on anything. Always get conflicting information.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and make benefits affordable so people cam live aswell.

I have been working at Ace Cash Express full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Benefits are ok if you stay long enough

    Cons

Everything else. They over work you and don't pay enough for the stuff you have to deal with. You also work alone most days which means no breaks or lunches, which is highly illegal in this state.

    Advice to Management

Pay more money to the employees and give more hours to the centers for double coverage.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Have a better way to deal with monetary discrepancies between two employees because it's not fair for both to lose their jobs

    Pros

    Working with great co workers

    Cons

Too many, once you resigned they don't pay your incetive, money you worked for the previous month becuase you no longer work for them. So not professional, I guess they need the money more than we do.

I have been working at Ace Cash Express full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No manager over your shoulder, can be on your phone, I even bring my laptop to work but I had a slow store. Benefits are okay.

    Cons

Working alone sometimes open to close. Mystery shops that if you fail under 90% you can lose your job. There's no security in this job at all, you can lose it at any moment because of 1 mistake. Your job is always threatened if you don't sell enough/any cards, or get customers to sign up for direct deposit. You're literally treated like a child. The ACE Elite card is a scam by the way!! Management looks at you as just a number. Management can barely do their job but always expect so much out of you for little pay. Hard to get time off. If you need to call off, YOU have to find someone to cover your shift. Not management. There was a store that got robbed and my DM called and asked if I could work that store the next day open to close because she couldn't find anyone to cover the shift. Are you kidding me? You never feel safe. The turn over rate is ridiculous. Hard to move up, I know people who've been working here for 10+ years just to move up as a center manager. Nothing more. The raises are ridiculous. I got a 10 cent raise. The pay sucks!!!!!! Just steer clear of this company. May look nice on the outside looking in but trust my word. Run!!!

    Advice to Management

Get rid of mystery shops, this put employees on edge like crazy. How could you trust the words of strangers rather than your own employees YOU hired. Trust that they can do their job correctly. Management needs a lot of work.

I have been working at Ace Cash Express full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Schedule. I can honestly say there is nothing else good to say about ACE Cash Express.. The CEO has allowed the company to go down the toilet.
    .

    Cons

Everything . In the beginning ( First 10 years) Great company. Pay was good, Morale was up there. You enjoyed your job. The CEO personable and cared about his people. The loan Dept gets company sued for 10 million. Seven years later the rest of the company and dedicated employees are suffering. You rarely see him anymore. Benefits cost are thru the roof. Long time seasoned employees that made ACE great up and left.

    Advice to Management

Do your job. No compassion. Do not ask your employees to do something you wouldn't do. Lead by example. Plays favorites. Morale has hit all time low.
