    Decision making is your own
    Being proactive is a plus here
    Never stop learning environment

    Cons

    Slow growing, there's some favoritism
    Lack of innovation, management is close to receive feedback, this can be solve with a head shacking, now is happening
    Constant strategy change, makes complicated to follow up success mid to long term

    Advice to Management

    Try to be open to what is happening in the market and the world, innovations is urgent here

    Relaxed atmosphere, good people, top notch benefits, independent workflow

    Little room for advancement, pay increases that don't even match the rate of inflation

    Pros

    Plenty of opportunity for cross training. The upper management is very helpful and attentive to their employees needs.

    Cons

    Very hard to advance unless you test and become a Tech or get hired on at the call center.

    Advice to Management

    The Temple location has an excellent team. They build great working relationships with their employees.

    Pros

    Good office location.

    Cons

    No formal review process. Low morale. Unprofessional managers. No chance to get promoted. Dead end company on their last legs.

    Advice to Management

    Need entire attitude adjustment/culture change. Chairman is still making racist comments in the media even after his Taiwanese pride caused the beginning of the end when JT Wang was chosen over Gianfranco. Then Gianfranco went to Lenovo and did great things.

    Pros

    Friendly environment that allows for better individual growth and team growth. Mon through Fri schedule and 8-5 schedule.

    Cons

    No room for advancement. Management does not seem to be on the same page and decisions are not clear and not always properly conveyed or clarified to non management employees.

    Advice to Management

    Work on making clear direct decisions and properly convey them down the chain. Provide a clear and better direction for each group and job duties are assigned correctly and make sense.

    Pros

    Great environment, communication flows easy, people is open to talk... if you show y o ir talent and blend into the culture. Salary is fair, work load is huge, but makes you move fast and you start to feel good with the workaholic mood. Product are really great quality, keeps innovating on technology. I'll totally return there.

    Cons

    Some bad people selection has damaged the company, lack of market positioning keeps dragging the brand into the low end price point; sadly they don't yet get how to communicate their product values.

    Advice to Management

    You need to takeout cancer people urgently, company is losing talent because of politics and lavish behavior, acer is a great company that will always have my admiration, respect and thankful for all what I learned there... but please...wake up and take out the trash... less politics, more good work and please value your people
