I worked at Achieva Credit Union part-time

    Pros

Co-workers, management is knowledgeable, Christmas bonus is WORTH IT

    Cons

Open on Saturdays. Not consistent with scheduling rotating weekends as promised in interview. Few staff members in each branch, time off is difficult.

I have been working at Achieva Credit Union full-time

    Pros

Paid is good, benefits are excellent, excellent work environment

    Cons

Not as many opportunities for advancement. People in certain positions of power don’t listen when others find issues with how things are done or how things are currently working

    Advice to Management

Listen when someone spots an issue. Don’t wait for it to get out if control. Be proactive not reactive.

I worked at Achieva Credit Union part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Staff, Christmas Party, Viking Branch and Community involvement

    Cons

Under-staff and low wages without real means of advancement

    Advice to Management

Focus on employee's needs and be more understanding of situation arising within their personal life. Also update technology and find the funding to staff properly.

Former Employee - Member Service Advisor I (Call Center) in Dunedin, FL

I worked at Achieva Credit Union full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Vacation time is amazing, everyone was friendly for the most part. Not a whole lot of members that were upset.

      Cons

Open on Saturdays, half day during the week is misleading when in the interview. Have day hours consist of 11-3. Schedule is not consistent at all. One day you're in at 7:50am, the next day it's at 8:30. Not a lot of room for growth, as people get comfortable in their positions.

I worked at Achieva Credit Union full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Great culture and fun work environment with little if any micro management. Most everyone is helpful in Center Court.

      Cons

Communication doesn’t reach down to branch levels. Technology is behind and you need to remember 15 passwords for 15 systems that don’t integrate.

      Advice to Management

Choose your MVP ‘s wisely. They will make or break your culture.

I worked at Achieva Credit Union full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Can't think of any. I'm supposed to have 20 word minimum but can't think of any. It's a nice mission statement but it's not reality.

      Cons

It's all a show that they pride themselves on being a top employer. The pay is much lower, the management are very fake and cannot be trusted, the benefits aren't so great even though they think it is. They don't treat you well at all as the company preaches. They put more work on you cause they are very cheap. Your doing the job of 2/ more people. Do yourself a favor and don't drink their poisonous kook-aid. They don't...

      Advice to Management

Be genuine and walk the company talk. Pay your employees fairly.

I worked at Achieva Credit Union

      Pros

Offices parties, Christmas parties, bonuses, technology

      Cons

No training, you're just thrown into it and it's incredibly difficult for the first few months until you grasp it's all. Bosses aren't helpful. Unorganized. Raises are very minimal. Work from upper levels are always laid onto tellers and there's nothing you can do about it.

      Advice to Management

Do your own work. Help the new ones learn. Be helpful instead of critical and intimidating. I only gave it two stars because the company itself is great, but working for the actual branches are overwhelming.
