    Pros

Like working in the social services industry this is a great company to do it with. Great benefits package.

    Cons

Non-profit organization that receives contracts from the state for some programs and each year is uncertain if your program will be funded. All due to the state's Budget.

I worked at Achieva full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Comp time if you can ever take it. No one pays attention to how much you call off as long as you fill your shifts. 2 sick hours earned a pay. Get minimal vac and personal time from the start.

    Cons

Management has no idea what day to day is really like. If you can't cover a shift you work it regardless of you have already worked ridiculously long hours. You have to find a buddy to be responsible for your sites or you don't get to take your vacation/personal/comp time. Then oncall is either every 3 or 4 weeks depending on which region that you are in. When oncall you are responsible for 16 or 17 sites for either a week or weekend. Then, when you go over the magical amount of overtime that they allot, they will punish you. It doesn't matter if you work over 22.5 beyond your week at your sites for free, but don't do it at sites that the company would have to pay you for or it's a corrective action.

    Advice to Management

Maybe stop just dumping all of the crap on the supervisors, try compensation for oncall beyond 50 achieva bucks that get you a $25 Giant Eagle gift card.

I worked at Achieva full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours; multiple sites to choose from; decent benefits.

    Cons

Many of the supervisors aren't very competent; less than friendly management.

    Advice to Management

Sharpen your interpersonal skills and be more fair to your employees who aren't supervisors or in management.
