    Pros

Rely on self starters, great leadership, very trusting.

    Cons

Lots of travel, never in the same place, no direct contact with colleagues.

    I have been working at Achieve3000 full-time

    Pros

Ample vacation time, relaxed office atmosphere, not micro-managed (although this may depend on who your direct manager is). You can work from home on occasion, which is nice. Free coffee and tea in the office, and breakfast/lunches are catered every so often. There are opportunities to move up in the company if you excel in your position. There are cost of living increases in salary every year.

    Cons

No paid lunch breaks. PTO is broken up into vacation days, floating holidays, and sick days. Unfortunately you only get 3 sick days . . . I wish there was just a set amount of paid days off you can pull from. Get the flu one week and all your sick days are blown in one shot! This is tempered by the ability to work remotely, however.

I have been working at Achieve3000 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I work in the field, not at the corporate office. Work very independently, love my boss, does not micromanage. Generous time off policy. Program is a very valuable resource that is upgraded routinely. Colleagues are top notch!

    Cons

Upper mgt sometimes a bit slow to provide resources for new initiatives, new rollouts at inopportune time of year.

    Advice to Management

Provide timely information on bonus metrics,

    Horrific pricing structure
Inside sales stepped on outside sales feet

    I worked at Achieve3000 part-time

    Pros

    - Great product with a great mission. Who doesn't want to help kids read?
    - Highly skilled and motivated employees who genuinely care
    - Remote work available

    Cons

    - Like other reviewers have pointed out, you will be mircomanaged like you have never been mircomanaged before.
    - High volume employee turnover (both because of people are let go and because of burn-out resignations)
    - So many meetings
    - Difficult to innovate because (1) everyone is in meetings all of the time and (2) upper management only trusts ideas that they think up

    Advice to Management

Look to your best-in-class workforce for ways to innovate and finally crack that $100M revenue goal that you have had for, what like four years now? Why hire smart people if you only want them to do what you tell them to do?

    I worked at Achieve3000 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The platform is a strong product.

    Cons

CEO micromanages, Processes are antiquated and difficult to navigate. Too much turnover and constant fear of being let go. No marketing or lead generation...I could go on, bottom line it is not a stable place to work. I joined thinking new management could make an impact and they couldn't. Now that CEO has stepped aside it may improve but I wouldn't bet on the culture changing overnight.

    Advice to Management

Improve processes so your employees can do their jobs. Take this new opportunity and expand marketing and review current pricing structure.

    I worked at Achieve3000 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Non-management are pleasant, kind, and highly motivated to grow and learn.

    Cons

Upper management communicates poorly, doesn't provide clear guidelines, takes credit for employee's achievements, and overreacts to small setbacks.

Company didn't pay accrued vacation time or floating holidays or sick time (which doesn't accrue) upon leaving company. They decided to not even fully pay me what I worked.

    Worst company ever worked at.

    Advice to Management

Give clear guidelines, support employees, give them credit where credit is due, and pay them what you contractually agreed to.
