    Pros

Good people and products. Local office culture is very laid back. Front line leadership is generally easy to work with.

    Cons

No work flexibility and there seems to be a general distrust for their people. This position is mainly used as a stop gap to the next opportunity elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Remove obstacles, don't create more. You also need to update products as they are becoming dated. Customization costs are way too high for what is actually delivered.

I worked at AchieveGlobal full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The sales org for the most part a lot of fun and nicer than your typical sales firm. VP I had was super cool.

    Cons

So many. ILT is dying. Company is dying. Passed from PE firm to PE firm without investment in product. Very little money to make. Managers lack professionalism had given up and we're lazy.
Internal politics here was horrible and many people that interacted with clients seed rude.

    Advice to Management

No point all my management was pushed out.

    Pros

The hours are flexible. The dress code is casual. Fellow co-workers are helpful and caring.

    Cons

New ownership does not seem to know which direction it wants to take the company. Many employees are disgruntled and confused. The former AchieveGlobal culture is gone.

    Advice to Management

Decide on a clear direction and go with it. Make sure those in departmental leadership are aware of how his/her department functions.

    Pros

Before the sale to Providence and the "take over" by Miller Heiman, this was an enviable place to work. Great communication from the senior leadership team across all functions. Cross departmental collaboration (except for Operations who had their own agenda), and a great work life balance. Employees invested in the direction of the organization and where it was heading. Strong and effective leadership. Sales used to communicate. Marketing used to provide value. Professional Services were, well, professional. In the end it was difficult to serve the customer and provide extraordinary products and services. Such a shame....!!!

    Cons

After the "acquisition", and loss of several key communicative and collaborative Sr. Team and Leadership individuals this organization has no direction. There is no grand plan - the purchase was simply a way to fuel the ego of the now ousted CEO Sam Reece, and to feather the pockets of the private equity firm he bamboozled into the purchase.

    Advice to Management

Get some management. It's probably too late but bring back some of the leadership you let go. Engage the existing leaders and communicate to the organization. Find a way to focus on the customer. It's what AchieveGlobal used to do and it made loyal advocates!
