I have been working at Acme Industries full-time

    Pros

Strategic moves have kept this company growing year after year. It is a good place to establish yourself and make a career out of it. Long-term vision.

    Cons

Like most small to medium companies, you pitch in and wear multiple hats. If that's not your thing, you probably won't survive here.

I have been working at Acme Industries full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The new President, who worked as a CNC Machinist at the beginning of his career, has been promoted from within. His reputation for good solutions to problems and the ability to communicate respectfully means that many employees support him. In addition, business is on the upswing!

Three locations limit interaction with some employees. Don't get to know everyone like it used to be.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Acme Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some good helpful people to work with (co-workers). Good benefits and pay if you have past experience. Easy to learn process for entry lever employees.

    Cons

Awful management. Near impossible to advance unless you're willing to kiss arse all day and you're part of the "chosen". Poor business practices that won't provide feeling of job security

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people. You would be out of business without them.

I have been working at Acme Industries full-time

    Pros

People here are mostly very good and talented, and want this company to succeed.

    Cons

Upper management ONLY cares about the mighty dollar and the Good Old boy club is alive and well. Not what is needed for this company right now. Upper management has cost an individual to loos a leg and another to loose his life!

    Advice to Management

Quit running after the quick buck and start to run the company as you would like it ran if you were in the other employees place. Like diversify and NOT bank on a "Golden" egg client.
