I have been working at Acquia full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Unbelievable career advancement opportunities
Internal promotions are the norm in Sales
Most senior management (CRO, CEO) are incredibly in touch with the team, challenges and always willing to help
Love our second line sales management team - some great changes there recently
Colleagues across other departments are super smart and very collaborative
Not a "frat house" atmosphere - like other Boston high fliers, which is great. This is a group of super smart, family oriented, driven people who care about each other

    Cons

Would be nice to see an expanded PaaS offering. It's something we know how to sell and market extremely effectively.

Work life balance can be hard when you are climbing the next mountain although I will say the company is extremely flexible and understanding

    Advice to Management

Keep up the transparency. The lower levels like to know what's going on at the top. More communication from the top on our opportunities AND challenges are welcome as long as they don't come out of the blue as edicts.

    Pros

Acquia is a geat place to work if you want to have a strong technical foundation, good career growth with job satisfaction without compromising on your personal life.

    Cons

Couldn't find any con which stops my growth or learning as a professional and person.

I have been working at Acquia full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hip office space, free snacks and drinks (including a keg!), fun culture, quasi-unlimited "take it as you need it" vacation time, healthcare is top-notch.

    Cons

Serious 'cost cutting' in all the wrong places. Recent exodus of top engineers and engineering management. Clear sense that executives favor sales and marketing at the expense of engineering and operations teams: the last company meeting was almost exclusively focused on the former groups, for example. No 401k match, and salary is not particularly competitive for the Boston market.

    Pros

Amazing office space, empowered team - and I really mean team - great leadership and innovative products. Acquia is on the verge of the next phase and is a great place to be

    Cons

Coming out of a period of rapid growth, there is catch up to do on products. No 401K match. The brand is not as well known as it should be.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course and keep the culture from going political. There are great people here, but get big without losing the DNA.

I worked at Acquia full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the smartest most dedicated people you will meet in tech who genuinely care for each other. Definitely there's a strong corporate culture (Acquia DNA), but if you buy in, there a ton to get excited about. Truly an international company, you'll work with people from all over the world. Executives are easy to approach.

    Cons

Work life balance can be difficult to find. Because of it's size and rapid growth, growing pains around culture from being a startup to a mature company still exists but are being worked out. A lot of attrition happened between moving HQs. Compensation depending on the role can be below market compared to other job offers. Can be a bit chaotic around crunch time to meet deadlines.

    Advice to Management

Keep your focus outwards on the market to position yourself in the best possible way but without sacrificing looking inwards at the people who got you where you are today.

I worked at Acquia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good office. Some good people.

    Cons

A bad place to work with lots of discrimination. check with anyone you know who work at Acquia Delhi. They can confirm this truths. There are a set of employees who enjoys all privilege. They work from home whenever they wish. They work remotely for months together even though they are delhi employees. they dont even take an approval or anything and no one asks them. they take month-long vacations for not critical reasons and no one questioned. But when a regular employee like you or me take a long leave or work from home, it needs a lot of approvals and questioned. many of us stay away from home and family working in delhi. it is hard to see ourselves being forced to office. not something to complain since i joined for delhi office. but when you see some people enjoying discrimination privilges and no one ask while we have to answer for everything, it feels really bad.

    Advice to Management

get ur policies straight. dont show discrimination.
