I have been working at Acrodex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nothing special about Acrodex, easy going atmosphere, less corporate politics.
    No micro management.

    Cons

Not flexible at all with time management, no flexible timings, no work from home concept.
    Mandatory lunch break 12-1 (unpaid).

    Advice to Management

Keep the lunch time 1 hour optional if some wish to have lunch like on the go sandwich on the seat itself and working let them go 1 hour early.

Spend some money on paid training.

    Cons

low pay. when you compare to others in the industry iot's low. Taking advantage of recession i guess

    Advice to Management

maybe have more full time positions than just mainly contracts. Pay increase would be nice too for long term employees

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to work in software packaging
    Pays well for the role.

Management doesn't always seem aware of staff as individuals

    Advice to Management

Focus more on helping your staff feel like part of a time instead of just a way to bill clients.

I have been working at Acrodex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good place to start in your career and get a base set of skills
Lots of opportunity to move around, change positions and try new things (its encouraged)
Co workers and management (at least for the position I was in) were professional and friendly

    Cons

The pay is better literally everywhere else. I have not once come across another company that pays its employees less than Acrodex does. Other reviews will say the same. It's a paycheck to paycheck job.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay rates to be more competitive. At the time of writing this myself and six other experienced co workers are trying to leave for better paying jobs. It would really help with retaining experienced employees

I worked at Acrodex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I give Acrodex credit for giving me a chance when nobody else would. They hired me shortly after I completed university. My university training was completely unrelated to information technology.

Despite having no qualifications for my job, they trained me from the ground up.

    Cons

Working for Acrodex was living paycheque to paycheque. After benefits, deductions and taxes I was always hardly getting by. It was just not enough to live off of.

    Advice to Management

Having to threaten to quit in order to be given a salary increase is not healthy for management or for staff.
