    Pros

    *Solid technology
    *Newfound commitment to marketing
    *Decent salary
    *Leadership really pushing to build $1B company
    *Great opportunity in cloud marketplace for data protection

    Cons

    *Constant changes at leadership level
    *Way too many 'cooks in the kitchen', the organization is way too top heavy
    *Sales Compensation plans are capped and are not designed to drive the right business behaviors
    *Company is trying to do too many things at once
    *No room for growth

    Advice to Management

    When you make a plan, stick with it. Also, the sales compensation plans are designed for a larger company that has a market-leading technology and a commodity core product, not for a company who is trying desperately to take market-share away from larger companies and that not many people know about. Act like you care about your employees instead of treating them like a 'means to an end'. Keep investing in marketing, the biggest issue (aside from constant turnover and lack of execution) is that the marketplace is not fully aware of Acronis and all of its solutions.

    Pros

    A recognized product. Training is an adequate start, but new product roll outs could be better

    Cons

    The biggest con would be the lack of help with personal development within one's assigned area. The question arises, "does the company want me to make a career here, or just passing through?"

    Advice to Management

    Train more. Be more clear on career opportunities within the company

    * Innovative ideas in Engineering

    * Owners are interfering with management
    * All-Russian development team is removed from core markets and moving too slow
    * Too many products, no leadership in any market segment
    * Recent upending of management structure and replacement of CEO created uncertainty and is destroying the climate

    Pros

    Friendly working environment among peers and most of the managers.
    Overall good compensation and benefits package.
    Overall interesting projects.
    Charismatic CEO.
    Lots of smart people.

    Cons

    In my opinion, the high turnover, which mostly happens silently, is a consequence for a lack of care for the people. I do not see any constructive effort to allow me to grow.

    As most developers who strive to excel in a heavily competing world, I always try to add something valuable to my CV; this very personal need seems to be totally overlooked by management, even when it could be given to me at zero cost, having back my gratitude and greater commitment.

    A part from the new and better insurance plan, which was I think greatly appreciated, it does not seem that there is space for any career or compensation improvement.

    Advice to Management

    It may seem surprising, but if you take time to understand and then do a minimal effort to address people's need and wishes, you will get an astonishing level of commitment.

    A long-term strategy for the team may give surprisingly good result. Current management for software does not seem to evaluate and incentive documentation and automation which, in my opinion, on the long term will improve the productivity and the comfort of the working environment.

    I worked at Acronis (More than a year)

    Pros

    - good location
    - good working atmosphere as it was a little company
    - as long as you execute everything - it is good

    Cons

    - upper management was just looking at their performance indicators, not people
    - bureaucracy was met as soon as something left the local level
    - hiring /firing was on corporate hands (US mainly )
    - almost no opportunities to grow
