Great work environment Work from home Great benefits
Cons
No cons at the company
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Good place to learn a wide variety of skills because you tend to wear more than one hat
Cons
Training could have been more structured to enforce consistency of knowledge across the team to create a strong foundation. Covid definitely hinders growth.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
An engineering group that doesn't get its hand held. If you see something to fix, you can make sure it gets fixed Getting out of legacy code hell with modern technologies. No jerks. There are frank conversations, but they're professional and respectful.
Cons
Compensation is good, but lacks bonuses and a good 401k match Lots of tech debt to rewrite The downside of autonomy is that means engineers also have to act as their own project managers

Pros
If you look at the last few years of employee reviews, it should paint a picture of all of the improvements that Act-On has worked to make. Leadership actually listens here! They even hired a Director of Employee Experience and Inclusion this last month. I am excited to see that they are treating their employees as well as they treat their customers. On top of that this is a positive environment where you will be working with great people who all want to help and support each other!
Cons
Benefits perhaps need improvement given how competitive the employee market is, but are not bad.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Good culture, compensation good - benefits could be better, immature processes
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Culture is great, people are nice and very supportive - Free snacks in the break room - Very flexible with time off/PTO - Base salary is competitive - Most benefits are very good
Cons
- No bonus - 401k match is very low - Engineering processes are very immature: lots of chaos and personal heroics (though I believe they are trying to improve this) - Not enough people to do the job (I think they're trying to improve this as well)

Pros
A vibrant industry, an innovative product, passionate customers

Inconsistent leadership focus and commitment, a semi-constant sense of chaos.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Work-Life Balance Cares about employee's health and wellness Competitive pay Ability to work remote
Cons
Teams can be siloed and do not interact much across departments, can be a struggle to get to know more of your co-workers.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Great teams and great people
Cons
No training offered for my role, no bonuses or cash incentives, lots of stress.
