Pros
If you look at the last few years of employee reviews, it should paint a picture of all of the improvements that Act-On has worked to make. Leadership actually listens here! They even hired a Director of Employee Experience and Inclusion this last month. I am excited to see that they are treating their employees as well as they treat their customers. On top of that this is a positive environment where you will be working with great people who all want to help and support each other!
Cons
Benefits perhaps need improvement given how competitive the employee market is, but are not bad.

Work-Life Balance Cares about employee's health and wellness Competitive pay Ability to work remote
Cons
Teams can be siloed and do not interact much across departments, can be a struggle to get to know more of your co-workers.

Act-On Software is truly an amazing company! I have worked here now for about 2 years and it has been an amazing experience. They are focused on company culture and creating healthy dynamics within the workspace. Leadership is very visible and it's easy to be heard/seen. The community is made up of talented industry professionals who are all kind, approachable, communicative, and focused on each other's growth as well as the company's growth! I would say that this is the best employer I have ever worked for. Act-On Software is the best!

Dec 4, 2020 - Software Engineering Manager in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I've been a part of engineering at Act-On for over half a decade. There has been a ton of change over those years. Most of it for the better. Here are just a few: - Better engineering culture - Better relationships between departments - More open communication from the executive level - More focus on creating customer value over buzzword features - Better development practices - Improved hiring practices A few other pros are: - Really good health benefits - Take what you need PTO policy
Cons
There's a few benefits that would be nice to add, especially 401k match and maybe a sabbatical for long term employees. ;)
