    Pros

Decent pay, company car, gas paid for

    Cons

Huge territory (all of New Mexico and El Paso), hired without pharma experience and not given good training to help me succeed. Only worked there for 6 months and was let go with no warning/write-ups/counsel. Had zero work-life balance as they expect you to take offices and doctors out to entertain them multiple nights a week.

    Advice to Management

Give your reps manageable territories. I work in pharma still and split the same territory I was given at WC with one other person. Give good quality training to people who have no previous pharma experience.

    Pros

ummmmm, I am trying to think of one..............fast paced (unsure of in what direction!) environment, decent compensation

    Cons

absolutely no idea what or where this company will go in next, what products they will sell off or buy which leads to VERY uneasy and unfocused sales force. Just waiting for the next shoe to drop from Corp.

    Advice to Management

somebody please put away the CO rhetoric manual and tell the truth to the masses, and stop acting like this is all by chance when things do happen.

    Pros

great Benefits that were ingrained in the original company

    Cons

Wall street harlot. No focus on intrinsic strengths and talent. greedy top management milking the company through acquisitions and divestiture. Represents the poor state of values in corporate America that is acting opportunist due to free money in the hands of the investor. no care for shareholders as no bonus or dividend ever given. Only stock options to themselves. very corrupt

    Advice to Management

Be an American if you call yourselves an american company.

    Pros

If you are fortunate enough to get stock options it performs very well. Very large global company so you could get to travel to some good places.

    Cons

The company is growing way to fast and the IT organization is in complete chaos. They are constantly integrating companies and the technology is out dated. They put new projects on hold with every new acquisition, so it only delays the process.
the leadership in IT is not the best and many have jobs they are not qualified to have.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting IT projects on hold due to new acquisitions. You are buying these companies so the global vision you setup should be implemented to them. The current analysis by paralysis will prevent you from ever getting nay standards in place.

I worked at Actavis as a contractor

    Pros

Nothing much. Great place to work before all the acquisitions.

    Cons

Terrible management. They only care about themselves. Can't advance.

    Advice to Management

People will continue to leave if you keep abusing them.

I worked at Actavis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are none. Everyone is disposable for the littlest charge. Especially hard working employees who're juggled around the work floor. The only Pro is that you'll see people for who they really are and not what they want you to believe. Be an Observer.

    Cons

Poor management, poor and/or no communication between supervisors and employees. too much Ego and false personalities. Very few good individuals. Money over Quality. Slow advancement.

    Advice to Management

    COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATION.

    Pros

Good severance package - if you join this company, it's likely you'll need it.

    Cons

Worst leadership in the industry! Most ignorant field managers I have ever seen from the director level and up. Layoffs common averaging twice a year for past 2 years. Not interested in hearing from front line about market conditions or what is important to customer. I believe they do not care and only interested in being acquired. There is no future in this organization.

    Advice to Management

Lay-off all field directors and up and start again - or just get it over and sell the company
