      Pros

Fast paced environment. Rewards merit, when tied with success of franchise.

      Cons

Long hours, often determined by studio iteration cycles (they're all unique with specific requirements).

      Fun parties!

      Pros

The pay and benefits are decent compared to market. There are lot of fun parties. It's not the best work environment for women and some minority groups.

      Cons

The building was pretty awful. Activision frequently required long hours with little notice. There is a high dependence on contractors who have little chance for full-time employment. There are layoffs after the annual earnings report.

      Fun While It Lasted

      Pros

The studio environment was incredible. Great leadership, it was fun even while it was stressful somehow, I loved everyone that I worked with.

      Cons

Long hours, pay wasn't great, most the work is temporary. The last bit is just sort of the nature of the beast I'm afraid. They staff up to get a game out the door, and then let people go when the game is done.
