      Rehab Management

      Pros

If you are a rehab therapist, tired of being pushed to meet unrealistic productivity standards with no regard for what your patients actually need, working for Acts Retirement-Life Communities is a dream! Patient focused care is alive and thriving here. Rehab programs have all been taken in-house so that the residents' needs drive the care and services. Focus is on clinical education and providing the best rehab care. You have to work hard, and medicare documentation is always aggravating, but you are respected as a therapist, not just a warm body with a license. Therapists are salaried, so hours are guaranteed, no being sent home early when caseload is low. Benefits are great. Residents are great and generally appreciative.

      Cons

If its primarily about the money and you need high end salary, look elsewhere.

      Pros

Great residents, excellent staff, good food, great location.

      Cons

Facility is very dirty, the fees are very expensive, The leadership is lacking and it shows when you walk into the facility. The Director in charge of the facility does not care about the employees and has run the place into the ground in a matter of 5 years.
