      Pros

      Actualsales is a great company to learn about lead generation campaigns.
      It was one of most enriching experiences I ever had.

      Coming from an economics background, I didn’t know much about digital marketing but thankfully I was welcomed by a great team that taugh me all the secrets about it!
      It is a great school to learn about performance campaigns as these are still slightly recent on the market.

      We had a team divided between Portugal and Brazil. The team from Brazil was extremely helpful teaching us and we really felt the team spirit although we weren’t all in the same physical space.

      Another great thing about actualsales that it’s quite difficult to find in other companies is the freedom to try new approaches. The company trusts you if you deliver good results and you have the freedom to try new online channels or whatever you find relevant to optimize your campaigns. It’s all about performance after all!

      Cons

      Work-life balance is probably the biggest disadvantage at actualsales. You’re responsable for many things and sometimes it’s hard to do everything in only 8 hours.

      Advice to Management

      The best way to keep your employees happy is to ensure that they are integrated into a great team where they feel happy. The most important thing about your job is the people you work with as you spend more time with them than anyone else.
       I was lucky to find a great team at actualsales but I also know that my generation (the recent newcomers in the job market) are constantly changing jobs and looking for new professional experiences. Therefore, ensuring the best environment among the team is the best strategy to retain these people.

      Pros

      Good team environment
      Relaxed culture
      Office in city center

      Cons

      Laptop given is old and broken
      Internet connection fails and wifi is broken
      Not much training received, mostly only need to know basis
      Coordination and instructions received from managers in Brazil
      Work platform is outdated, slow and doesn't provide necessary information
      Awful work life balance, they expect you to be available at all times
      You find a problem, you solve it yourself company culture

      Advice to Management

      Invest in qualified people (that work in Lisbon)

      - Result-driven company. All ideas are taken into account, but they have to prove they have potential;
      - True hard work and creativity are rewarded
      - Young and dynamic culture

      Sometimes (not rarely) you have more work than you can deal with.
