"ION & Acuris are both terrible. Not a great place for POC and Minorities"
- Work/Life Balance★★★★★
- Culture & Values★★★★★
- Career Opportunities★★★★★
- Compensation and Benefits★★★★★
- Senior Management★★★★★
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Acuris Global full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
ummmm....I would say there's some autonomy with the work you do, and it isn't very stressful
Cons
There are so many cons. Acuris's culture wasn't great before the ION acquisition, since the ION acquisition the culture has become much more terrible. There aren't many black people at the company, and as a white man, I have witnessed so many offensive things said about a couple of the black people there when they challenged management about diversity. Aside from that, there aren't really any real opportunities to grow, and a huge number of the workforce was terminated, but top performers aren't also being rewarded with appropriate commissions for the sales they made for other ION products. i've observed hard working women and pocs get passed up for promotions and opportunities. This is the best company to work for if you're a skilled politician. Don't bother joining if you're looking to build a career because it would happen. I wouldn't recommend joining as well if you're a person of colour or identify as LGBT. Pay is also terrible and crap the health insurance is much worse

"Don’t work here if you’re a minority and not into immature high school behavior"
- Work/Life Balance★★★★★
- Culture & Values★★★★★
- Career Opportunities★★★★★
- Compensation and Benefits★★★★★
- Senior Management★★★★★
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Acuris Global full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Cool office travel opportunities Nice intro into fintech
Cons
The teams do not know how to work together. Sales are older people who are mostly extremely rude. They depend on the relationship managers however refuse to work with them to hit joint goals. Their manager does not care how they behave as long as they make sales so doesn’t help. There is little to no upward mobility. There is no diversity. It is not a priority for the company. It’s kind of like a high school environment lots of drama and chatter behind each other’s backs. Not a great working environment. Training program is not great. Management does not know some of the products and have to depend on other team members to learn.

"Fake journalism brought to you by fake journalists"
- Work/Life Balance★★★★★
- Culture & Values★★★★★
- Career Opportunities★★★★★
- Compensation and Benefits★★★★★
- Senior Management★★★★★
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Acuris Global full-time for less than a year
Pros
A crash course in financial knowledge.
Cons
Management is a disgrace. They will lie to you to get you in the door and not honor any of their promises. When you need help they will blow you off and ignore you. As sink-or-swim as it gets. Legal is constantly dealing with lawsuits from companies that have been reported on as the information in the articles is fake. Management will tell you to spread misinformation while claiming it's all true (it's not). The only real news is from press release rewrites, which only the real journalists that have been tricked into their jobs will do. All "exclusive news" relating to deals is not true in the slightest - which is why SEO is discouraged.
