I worked at Acxiom full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The employees care about their customers and are hard-working.

    Cons

Management has always talked about focusing on the long-term, but when the quarterly numbers were due to Wall Street, the focus switched to short term. The previous leadership was much more employee-oriented.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your employees and the long-term.

I have been working at Acxiom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There were a group of great people but one by one they all left. What remains in China is people who are just trying to get by without delivering any true value to clients.

    Cons

Top management is single minded and middle management is virtually non-existent as they are good followers to the upper manager and have zero people management skills.

    Pros

Acxiom benifts are equal to the marketplace. Extensive virtual training offered. Flexable about taking time off for personnel reasons. Excellent IT support.

    Cons

Acxiom is very short term revenue oriented towarded their existing products. Does not approach markeplace in a consultative manner. Nees to improve and streamline processes. Having employees work out of offices is opposite of what big consulting firms are doing.

    Advice to Management

Streamline internal processes for trave, expenses, contacts etc. To much overhead and time wasted.
