I worked at Acxiom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Incredibly talented people work here and they enjoy their work when they know what they are meant to be doing.

    Cons

So much changed happened that no one actually knew their job role any more. Too many juniors promoted with not business acumen.

    Advice to Management

Listen to all levels, not just the managers who sometimes are the worst indicators of whether a system works or not.

I have been working at Acxiom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Knowledgable team, unique product offering hence leaders in the 1st party CRM/privacy space, great CEO. Good work life balance with the ability to work from home when imperative. A will to win

    Cons

Market leaders at a local level are all over the place and really let the broader global company down.
Hire and fire at will without any logic, without following any guidelines. Make spur of the moment decisions, without thinking through changes and impact on the department.

    Advice to Management

Change the MDs in Europe specifically

I worked at Acxiom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good smart people, Good client list, Good to learn about data and CRM, Very strong US brand. Good employees are rewarded as necessary but careers progression within the company seems extra ordinarily slow

    Cons

Different teams work in silos, Resistant to innovation.Lack of products. Europe needs more autonomy from US but a higher focus too. Older employees have stuck around for many years while the younger ones (more enterprising) don't seem to stay for longer then a couple of years.

    Pros

    Good Projects
For the most part good people to work with
    Good social support network
Work with a lot of big name brands

    Cons

    Poor remuneration / compensation package
    Long working hours
US overrides UK far too strongly - hands are tied for pretty much everything.

    Advice to Management

Let the UK/Europe do its own thing, it will deliver much better results for the corporation as a whole
    Improve compensation packages
